Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its new RedmiBook 16 laptop in China. The laptop comes with a starting price tag of 3,799 yuan (#206,302).
The device is already up for pre-orders and will go on sale in the country starting June 1. Along with launching the new laptop, the company has also upgraded the RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14 models with Risen 4000 processors.
RedmiBook 16 specifications
RedmiBook 16 features a 16.1-inch display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The laptop is powered by a 2.3GHz AMD Ryzen processor with AMD Radeon Graphics.
The device packs 8GB/16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage. The RedmiBook 16 runs Windows 10 operating system. Measuring 67.2×232.85×17.55mm, the laptop offers WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.1, USB Type C, and HDMI port as connectivity options.
The laptop is backed by a 46Wh battery with fast charging support. The company claims that the laptop can charge up to 50% in just 38 minutes. The company has also incorporated an 8nn heat pipe for maximum heat transfer and a large fan. The device also consists of a full-sized keyboard with 1.5mm key travel.
Recently, Xiaomi launched the 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G smartphones in China. The smartphones come in Blue, Violet, and Gold colour options. The Redmi 10X 5G comes with a starting price tag of 1,599 yuan (Rs 16,900) and it will go on sale starting June 1. On the other hand, the Redmi 10X Pro 5G comes with a starting price tag of 2,299 yuan (Rs 24,800) and will go on sale from June 5.
